Love in the Cloud began with a song I wrote for my daughter and her husband. This artwork is the central image in the black-and-white series that grew from that song.
I wrote the original song and used its musical and lyric abstractions through Orrery Glyph, a computer program that I developed. It essentially translates the song into fine art that follows my artistic choices. The result is this beautiful fine art
The dense field of luminous points and connecting lines suggests love carried through distance, memory, and digital space. This is the starting point for a continuing series rather than the end of a single visual idea.
Animated Organism Study
A short animated study of the organism-like movement in this work is planned. It will be added after Orrery Glyph is repaired and the sequence can be rendered from the source artwork.
